Mood

The following words were studied on Saturday and can be used to describe the mood of a text:

Nostalgic (Noun)
Desire to return in thought or in fact to a former time in one's life, to one's home or homeland, or to one's family and friends; a sentimental yearning for the happiness of a former place or time: He was nostalgic for his college days.

Sympathetic (adjective)
Showing approval of or favor toward an idea or action: "he was sympathetic to evolutionary ideas".
Ecstatic (adjective)
Feeling or expressing overwhelming happiness or joyful excitement.
Insidious (adjective)
        1. Proceeding in a gradual, subtle way, but with harmful effects: "the insidious effects of stress".
        2. Treacherous; crafty: "an insidious alliance".

Hostile (adjective)
Unfriendly; antagonistic.

Foreboding (adjective)
Implying or seeming to imply that something bad is going to happen.
